Sue Meredith is a former Missouri State Representative and longtime advocate for children and families. During her time in the Missouri House of Representatives, she served on the House Committee on Children and Families and chaired the Missouri Children’s Services Commission, helping shape policies affecting children and the child welfare system across the state.
Beyond her legislative work, Sue has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), working directly with children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Her experience has given her a perspective that extends beyond policymaking to understanding how decisions made within systems can affect children and families in their everyday lives.
Throughout her career, Sue has championed efforts to improve outcomes for children and youth in foster care, strengthen child welfare systems, and expand opportunities for vulnerable families.
